Born in Singapore, Lisa Anne's visual work draws heavily on growing up in a densely populated urban environment and her design background. She produces large-scale photographic works that are vivid in both colour and details, choosing to shoot with medium to large format cameras. All of her work are captured on refurbished older film cameras purchased second hand.

Her work has been featured at (former) Sherman Galleries, PhatSpace, First Draft, the Centre of Contemporary Photography (CCP) and the Ivan Dougherty Gallery in Australia. Her work has been cited in publications like Real Time+On Screen, Space3 — An Australian Independent Creative Network published by the NSW Ministry for the Arts in 2005, and as part of the recommended reading list for the Department of Philosophy University of Central Florida.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts (by Research) and a BFA (Hons) in Photomedia and a Diploma in Visual Communications (Photography & Video). She currently resides in Sydney Australia and is the Creative Head of a small design studio.
